Some TV families never leave the living room. Bundy Club gives the fans of Married... with Children a permanent seat on the couch, hosted by David Faustino, Bud Bundy himself.
Bundy Club: the brief for a fan membership site
Following the success of a Bundy cast reunion in Los Angeles, David and his partners wanted a real home for the show's fans: a place for never told stories, unseen photos and regular live hangouts with the people who made the series. It needed paid memberships, a real social community, live events, merch and a mobile app, all run by a small team without a pile of disconnected SaaS tools.
The BuddyPress membership community we built
- A BuddyPress powered members only social network, "Community Dysfunction," where fans post, comment, share memes and behind the scenes moments, and keep the conversation going between live sessions.
- Bundy Breakdown watch parties: members watch a chosen episode on their own time, then join David and special guests from the show live on Zoom every two weeks. Every past session is available on demand.
- WooCommerce membership tiers from a free Freeloader seat through Bundy Lurker, Slacker Starter and Elite Sloucher, each with its own level of Zoom access. Elite members can even be picked to sit on the couch live. Billing runs monthly, every six months or yearly at a discount.
- Gamification with badges, points and monthly leaderboards, so fans level up from Shoe Salesman to Grandmaster B. Commemorative badges such as Founding Bundy mark milestone events.
- The Bundy Shop on WooCommerce, with apparel, hats, No Ma'am slip on shoes and other merch, plus private Zoom sessions with David and site sponsorships.
- The Bundy Club mobile app, built with AppPresser on the same WordPress site, so the community, events and content travel with members in their pocket.
Why Bundy Club mattered to fans
Bundy Club launched in April 2026 with its first live watch party on April 16, a breakdown of the pilot with Richard Gurman, a writer and producer on the show from the start. Since then the club has kept a steady schedule of Bundy Breakdowns with writers, crew and cast guests, an active member community with its own leaderboards, and a store that turns fandom into revenue. Because everything runs on one WordPress install, members, payments, content and the app all share the same accounts and data. As Al might put it, no ma'am, nobody had to glue five platforms together.
