What time does the pool close?
Questions like that arrive every day in a large community, along with questions about guest rules, the next family event and where to report a broken light. FIP Living gives residents of Fleming Island Plantation the answers in an app, and gives the amenity team a way to reach every household at once. Vesta Property Services built the app with AppPresser's app builder.
The community and its manager
Fleming Island Plantation is in Fleming Island, Florida. Its Community Development District owns the amenities: an amenity center with pools, courts and a playground, and a splash park with a water slide, pavilions and a walking path. Vesta Property Services operates them. Vesta has managed Florida homeowner, condominium and amenity communities since 1995 and also builds community websites. It created FIP Living on the AppPresser platform.
Two taps to almost anything
The first screen shows a photo of the amenity center above a grid of large buttons, and a bottom bar holds home, contact and events.
The side menu goes deeper, with Resident Info, Events, Amenity Center, Splash Park, Newsletter, CDD, Report Concern, About FIP and Contact Info. Every item opens the matching page from the community website.
When plans change, staff send push notifications about events, meetings, board news and amenity closures. The same layout works on iPhone, Android phones and tablets.
Three groups, one channel

Keeping it current
The community site is built on WordPress with The7 theme, WPBakery and Ultimate Addons, Modern Events Calendar, Slider Revolution and MonsterInsights. Staff change hours, events and policies on the website, and AppPresser keeps the app in step.
Simple, done well
Clear menus, up to date pages and timely alerts are not flashy, but they are what residents actually need from a community app. Any HOA or amenity manager could use the same playbook.
