AlphaWeb built the official website for the Borough of Deal, New Jersey. It gives residents one place for meetings, public notices, departments, forms, records requests and emergency resources, and it works on any device and in any language.

The challenge
A municipal site serves everyone in town. Residents need meeting schedules, public notices, ordinances, forms and records requests without hunting for them, and the site has to be accessible, mobile friendly and simple for borough staff to keep current.
The solution
AlphaWeb delivered a WordPress site with clear navigation built around how residents use local government: Calendars, About, Departments, Emergency Resources, Governing Body, Public Notices and Contact. Staff manage events, documents and pages from WordPress without touching code.
Key features
- Meetings and events calendar: separate calendars for Commissioner meetings, Municipal Court sessions and Planning Board meetings, with date, time and location on each event.
- Recent news ticker: the latest announcements right on the home page.
- Department pages: Administration, Borough Clerk, Budgets and Audits, Building, Public Works, Fire, First Aid, OEM and Ocean Rescue, Vital Statistics, Planning Board, the Deal Casino Bathing Club and Conover Pavilion.
- Town Hall resources: forms, ordinances, municipal court information, public information and public notices, managed as a searchable document library.
- Records requests: a Request a Record page and an OPRA request link.
- Accessibility tools: a skip link, a high contrast toggle and a font size toggle, plus labeled menu toggles.
- Translation: a language selector in the header.
- Maps for locations, site search, an email signup and an employment opportunities page.
- SEO: managed with Rank Math.
