Something new to read every morning
Good Faith Media produces podcasts, videos, books and a magazine, but its daily news and opinion writing is what readers return to most. The iOS app is built around that habit. Good Faith Media built the app with AppPresser's app builder.

Two histories, one new name
Good Faith Media formed in July 2020 when two long running organizations merged. One was Baptists Today, started in 1983 and later called Nurturing Faith. The other was the Baptist Center for Ethics, started in 1991 and known for EthicsDaily.com. CEO Mitch Randall leads the combined organization, which describes its mission as reflection and resources where faith and culture meet, seen through an inclusive Christian lens.
The app went live in November 2020, a few months after the merger, already wearing the new brand. Good Faith Media built it on AppPresser.
Inside the app
Today, News, Opinion and Podcasts fill the bottom bar. Today shows the newest pieces as large cards showing a photo, the headline and the opening of the story.
Reading view. Articles open full screen with a big image, readable type and a share button.
Beyond articles. Podcasts and videos are a tap away. Search finds a topic, and the slide out menu links to Videos, Donate and the full website, where the books and magazine live.

Its readers
People of faith thinking through current events, pastors and church leaders who have followed these publications for decades, and podcast listeners and donors who want a simple way to stay involved and give.

Publishing stack
The website uses WordPress with Divi, WooCommerce, SearchWP Live Ajax Search and dFlip. Each article is posted on the site, and AppPresser handles delivery to the app.
Launching mid transition
Rebrands are a hard time to add new projects. Because the app draws from the same WordPress site the staff already used, it could launch soon after the merger with no separate mobile process.
