LearnDash Development
Training That Lives on Your Own Site.
LearnDash is the learning management plugin we reach for most often. It keeps courses, learner records and your brand inside your own WordPress site instead of someone else's product, and it works with every integration WordPress supports.
What We Build With LearnDash
Courses, cohorts and the reporting around them.
Course and training sites
Courses, lessons, topics and quizzes your team edits in the block editor.
Groups and reporting
LearnDash Groups mapped to buildings, locations or departments, with dashboards and email summaries for group leaders.
Course sales
WooCommerce for one time purchases, subscriptions, coupons and bulk seat purchases.
Learning communities
BuddyPress turns a course into a cohort, with discussion next to the lesson.
Gamification
Points and badges through GamiPress or BadgeOS that give learners clear goals.
Mobile learning apps
AppPresser connects to LearnDash for native iOS and Android apps with course progress, lessons and login.
How We Deliver LearnDash
- Recon: Who the learners are and whether they sign up, are enrolled by a manager or arrive from a purchase.
- Plan: Courses, bundles, learning paths or certification tracks, and what proves completion.
- Design: Lessons and quizzes that work with a keyboard and screen reader.
- Build: Courses, groups, sales and integrations on staging.
- Test: Load testing for logged in traffic before a big enrollment push.
- Launch and support: Training for your team and ongoing care.
Learning Projects
Training and learning platforms we have built on WordPress.
Diversify STEM
An app and website for the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers. LearnDash lessons reach the app through the LearnDash REST API and award stars and points through GamiPress, with single sign on to the MPower CRM.
ConnectedPE
An app on the AppPresser platform that delivers physical education lessons, educator chat and course progress to teachers.
Starbucks
A WordPress learning platform for baristas, with equipment videos, quizzes that require 80 percent to advance and reporting by person, store or city.
LearnDash FAQs
Why LearnDash instead of a hosted course platform?
A hosted platform is quick to start, but your content and learner data live in someone else's product. LearnDash keeps both in your own WordPress site.
Can LearnDash sell courses?
Yes. We connect LearnDash to WooCommerce for one time purchases, subscriptions, coupons and bulk seat purchases.
Can learners use our existing login?
Yes. We have connected LearnDash sites to outside identity systems, such as a member CRM for the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers.
Can managers see only their own team?
Yes. LearnDash Groups let group leaders see progress for their own learners, and we add custom reports where the defaults are not enough.
Can you move courses from another LMS?
Usually. We inventory courses, media and learner records, script the move and test completion records before launch.
