The first few minutes are worth the most
In football analytics, speed is part of what members pay for. A note about a line, an injury or a fantasy ranking change matters most right after it is released. Sharp Football Analysis already sent that work to members through its WordPress site and email. Its app adds a faster route straight to the lock screen. Sharp Football Analysis built the app itself with AppPresser's app builder.
Warren Sharp and the service
Warren Sharp trained as a civil engineer and built his own model for forecasting NFL results. He went on to launch Sharp Football Stats, a free site of visualized play by play data, and he writes an annual Season Preview book. He has advised NFL teams on game plans and in game decisions, and his work has appeared with national sports outlets. Sharp Football Analysis sells NFL and college football packages, premium articles, previews and fantasy content, with other analysts writing alongside him. The company built its app on AppPresser.

Deliberately small
Members buy on the website and then sign in to the app with the same email and password. After that, the app does three jobs.
- Announcements feed. Every update from Warren and the team appears in one running list, each tagged with a topic like Starter Stack, Fantasy or Draft Kit and stamped with the date and time.
- Plays tab. Recommendations get their own spot in the bottom navigation, apart from general news, so the most time sensitive items are one tap away.
- Push alerts. Each release triggers a notification, and the full post is waiting inside. Updates go out by push, email and the website dashboard at once, and the team has said push reaches phones faster than text messages.

Who signs in
Paying members who want the research the instant it is ready, from season long bettors to fantasy players working through draft prep and weekly waiver moves. Since the login matches the website, members have nothing new to remember.

The stack
The business runs on WordPress with an Avada based design, Gravity Forms and AddToAny. Accounts and content stay in WordPress, and AppPresser brings them into the native apps. Publishing on the site updates the app automatically.

Small can be enough
A feed, one focused tab, a familiar login and well timed alerts made this app central to a subscription business. Premium content sites on WordPress can learn from how little it needed.
