Microsoft offers OpenAI models through Azure, now part of Microsoft Foundry, with Azure security, regional deployment and enterprise agreements. AlphaWeb builds Azure OpenAI into WordPress sites, AppPresser apps and workflows for organizations standardized on Microsoft.
How Azure OpenAI Works
You deploy a model in your Azure subscription and your system calls that deployment with Azure credentials. The requests look much like the OpenAI API, but access, networking and billing follow your Azure setup.
Your Azure Subscription
Model deployments live in your subscription, with Azure identity, permissions and regional choices.
Microsoft Foundry
Foundry brings OpenAI models together with other models, such as Meta's, and agent tools in one Microsoft platform.
Agent Tools
Foundry includes a computer use tool, currently in preview, for agents that operate apps and websites.
