Perplexity is known for answers grounded in web search, with sources. AlphaWeb uses the Perplexity Agent API to add research features that need current information from the web to WordPress sites, AppPresser apps and workflows.
How the Perplexity Agent API Works
The Agent API is a single endpoint for web search, page fetching and model calls. Your system sends a question with an API key, and the response comes back with the sources it used. We keep the key on your server.
